Tend to be directed at women aged 13-18 or sometimes older because of its light hearted nature produced in the films. Serious film fans tend to not watch these movies as romance genre tend to be more relaxed and feminine.

It attracts people of all races because there is usually a lot of different races in action films. While middle class do watch action films, the working class are generally the majority of viewers that watch action films.
